He is as near as your own breathing.
Have you ever had a person so close to you that you could feel their breath?
When you feel lonely or it seems as if God is far away, open your Bible. Because Scripture is God-breathed, the very breath of God is on every page. As you read, feel His loving breath caressing your cheek and know that He is as near as your own breathing.
Dr. Tony Evans has reminded us that God encompasses everything everywhere so that whatever you do, wherever you are, He is right there and ALL OF HIM is there. He is not less present with you because others need Him. God is present everywhere in the fullness of His deity.
When it seems like your prayers don't get past the ceiling, it doesn't matter because God is right there with you under the ceiling. He is in all the nooks and crannies and crevices of your life.
That's why (1 John 4:4); Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world.
Our God is everywhere equally all the time, so treasure the warm reality and closeness of His breath upon you as He speaks His Words of unfaltering love.
