My every day is filled with the miracles of God’s Grace.
From Moses we learn (Exodus 9:6) that plagues preach. From our own lives we learn that trials teach. Sometimes they teach us to simply accept the inevitable of our aging bodies in this fallen world. I want a face that says Welcome, a voice that speaks Kindness and a heart of Compassion and Understanding.
My sight has greatly deteriorated and is limited to the small right corner of my right eye. It seems impossible for me to make out cheques for tithes and offerings and to pay bills because I cannot see what I write and where it should go to make the cheque acceptable. But by the miracle of God’s unfailing goodness and Grace I have never had a cheque refused or returned.
I have many pills to sort out and arrange for each week. The Lord enables me to get every pill into the right place in the weekly holder. Every time I finish, I am in awe before the Lord. I can’t - - BUT GOD! The Sovereign Lord created, provided and makes effective every pill I need. I have so abundantly much for which to be grateful. God fills my every day. My every day is filled with the miracles of God’s Grace as the days go by.
I want to be a faithful ambassador, occupied only with the King’s business as the days go by.
As I grow physically weaker and have more pain, I grow spiritually richer as the love and care of Jesus is richer, fuller, deeper and sweeter as the days go by.
For each day (Ephesians 6:13) I put on the whole armour of God so that I can stand firm and equipped for what each day holds as the days go by.
