THE WALKING DEAD – OR – THE LIVING DUST

Alll unsaved people are spiritually dead. They are the Walking Dead.  Why did God (Genesis 2:7) create humans out of the dust of the ground?  God knew that the perfect holy humans He had created (Genesis 1:27) in His own image would sin against Him.  So He did not give them endless physical life but declared (Genesis 3:19) “you are dust and to dust you will return.”  But from before the foundation of the world (Revelation 5:6, Revelation 13:8) God planned a way that by free-will choice, every Walking Dead person can be transformed into Redeemed Living Dust, Then, we have an endless spiritual Life with (Philippians 3:20) our citizenship in heaven.

Having been redeemed and now alive in Christ Jesus, we can have and maintain a righteous, personal relationship with the Sovereign God so that not even a shadow comes between us and our Lord.  This and all our holy privileges have been purchased for us by the death and Resurrection, the Atonement of Jesus.

Why is the heart of every pearl a wound?  Because beauty and healing are produced in suffering and brokenness.  Wine comes from crushed grapes and perfume comes from crushed flowers.  There was no fragrance in the room until (John 12:3) Mary had broken the box containing the rare perfume.  We are healed and made whole by (Isaiah 53:5) the suffering of Jesus.  By our obedience, sorrow and suffering, we are equipped to bring to others the same comfort as healing of Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:4) that we received at our time of need. As we are broken, we will be enwheeled (encircled) zawith the fragrance of the sweetness of Jesus and as He is (1 John 4:17) so we will be in this world.

A pessimist sees a difficulty in every opportunity.  An optimist sees an opportunity in every difficulty.  For Christians, every difficulty, actually, is an opportunity to declare our love, loyalty and faith in Jesus.  When we are feeling at our worst, what do our words convey to others about God?  Are we always truthfully kind to God’s reputation?  If not, we are foolishly and dangerously telling lies about our Holy Sovereign God Who never makes a mistake.  What tremendous loss we bring to our souls if we refuse to be “ENTIRELY HIS” with (Matthew 10:37-38) no conditions.  Our love must be filled with sovereign preference for Jesus.  Then we will be heart-to-heart one with God in our prayers (Hebrews 13:3) for the Persecuted Church.

Not a pessimist, not only an optimist but always a Realist who knows and lives in TRUTH.

May our lives be continually and increasingly adorned with the lovely contents (Galatians 5:22-23) of God’s fruit basket.  It is always ripe to nourish and always fresh to beautify.

Meditate on this (Isaiah 37:26) thrilling verse.  God purposed to do it long ago and planned it from ancient times and “I will bring it to pass”.  Direct your mind to consider all that glorious verse contains of the declaration of Almighty God.

All that God planned in Eternity before Time began, He will bring it to pass in fleeting Time and He will bring to remain forever in endless Eternity.  Jesus used illustrations (Matthew 13:3) because illustrations are like windows letting light into a darkened room.

A line from a hymn - -

“Put your hand into the nail-pierced hand.”

If I put my hand into the nail-pierced of Jesus, I will live in the Resurrection Victory that His death purchased for me.
